A wide range of cycle trails, ideal for all ability levels, awaits you in the Ausseerland. Whichever route you choose, you’ll discover unique wonders of nature along the way and be amazed by the picturesque mountain world.
In spring the cycle trails lead you past blooming daffodil meadows, in summer the lakes invite you to a welcome cooling off. And when the leaves change color in autumn, you can experience wonderful rides through golden forests.
There are also many opportunities to stop off at one of the restaurants and cafés after a day’s cycling.

Many of the surrounding mountain peaks offer climbing routes over stone and cliffs, providing spectacular views. Experienced climbers and beginners will feel comfortable here.
For beginners, it is possible to rent regional mountain guides.
The high rope climbing park in Altaussee is offering a climbing experience for the whole family.
More experienced climbers can visit the Burgstall sport climbing garden in Stainach-Pürgg or the Gösslerwand climbing garden in Grundlsee.
If you’re looking for via ferrata, the impressive Gamsblick fixed-rope route on the Tauplitzalm, or the “Sisi” Loser panorama fixed-rope route might be something for you.
